Equipment Recomendations


The Basics/Must Haves:

Shoes

Belt (I suggest lever belts for powerlifters)

Change Plates

  • Change plates are useful for making increases in weight smaller than 5lb increments

Knee Sleeves/Wrist Wraps/Wrist Straps (As needed equipement but not necessary)

  • Knee Sleeves– These warm the knees which makes them great for knees that hurt while squatting.
  • Wrist Wraps (Stiff Version)– These help keep the wrist straight, providing the necessary support for pressing exercises and during squats.
  • Wrist Straps– Straps are great when using a double overhanded grip during pulling exercises. Use only as needed.

For Powerlifting:

Powerlifters should already have what’s listed under “The Basics”

Socks (Black)

T-Shirt

Approved under garment: No spandex or compression shorts, underwear only.
